The first Control Beast 4STAR player, post-pandemic. She's climbed her way up to top 60 in So. California in USTA, despite only playing in less than 6 tournaments for the year as of May. She is the epitome of hard work and discipline, with the addition of banter. You better not have a bad day against this young lady, or if there's something just a little off, she'll figure it out and exploit it. And then she'll rub salt on the wound with a little trash talking. She shows a lot of emotion on the court, but you'll never know whether she's up 5-0 40-love or even down 0-5 love-40, because she plays at a high intensity regardless of the score throughout the whole match. This young lady is really really fun to watch!
Jea's dream school is Stanford. Outside of tennis, she loves going to Dave 'n' Busters to earn the biggest prizes they have. She also loves smoothie shops to get acai bowls. She's been on fruit and vegetable binges since she was a toddler. As a kid, she watched a lot of Bear Grylls, Disney, and Hamilton. She's seen just about every episode of TPN vids. Her favorite player of course, is her lefty brother from another mother, Rafa.
