Since meeting Krish in the Summer of 2022, I've had the pleasure of being part of his journey as he's raised his UTR at least 1.5+ to 1.7+ points every year!

Jea started playing yellow ball in December of 2022, weeks before turning 11. She's been raising her UTR a steady 1.25 points every year, playing about a tournament every 3 weeks.

I met Maansi when Jea played her in the finals of a L7 tournament at the very end of 2022. We've been in the proverbial lab together since the Summer of 2023 and she's been on the rise! May have had the fastest 1-year growth in terms of UTR out of all of the Beasts, in 2024. That being said, she's still not near the player I know she's very capable of being, RIGHT NOW. She's about to blossom. Get your popcorn.

I met Aman at the end of 2022. He had just turned 8. He's steadily growing in UTR, skills, and in every attribute needed to be a successful tennis player. But most importantly, he's growing as a human being. He's the big 1-0 now. Honestly, I see Aman refining his skills, basics, and raising his court IQ while slowly but steadily raising his UTR, over the next 6 months or so... then knocking down doors and storming the 12's by the time he's almost 11. I would love to see him prove me wrong and do it faster. But sometimes slower is better.

Believe it or not, I met Arianna exactly when I met Aman. Coincidence. Arianna's been steadily raising her UTR by 1.3+ points every year but watch out! She's about to break out this year. It's a process but just wait and see. By the end of Summer 2025, you should check out to see what she's up to. I know you'll be impressed. I already know what's coming. I've seen this episode before, and I absolutely love it.

Anay had a slow start, in terms of time on the court, pretty sure he was a high 1.xx in 2022. Since then, he's picked up the court time, and absolutely everybody in the group is afraid to play him now. I love watching him play, he's developed a smoothness to his strokes and his game. Consistency is key, if Anay stays consistent, and can consistently put up with my jokes and banter, that 1.7+ UTR climb he just made will be one of the lowest year to year increases he will have as a junior.

The girl that got me in trouble with the USTA! But it all worked out in the end. I met Niya at the end of 2022. She had some interest in playing, I probably saw her once every 3 weeks on average haha. Anyhow, she played on my 12u intermediate team in the Fall 2023 and did alright haha rotating in and out at #2 doubles. You know, as good as a 1.75 UTR player would do...It's not all about UTR!! But.. yeah. 1.75 is 1.75 lol. The following season, despite playing multiple tournaments, she still had a 2.06 UTR and a high WTN, and was definitely a novice player, when I signed her up for the next season that February. Then she immediately put in some SERIOUS time. From the beginning of the season thru playoffs, she pushed through USTA matches, tournaments, UTR flex leagues, and Niya improved so much, that she raised her UTR by a whole point 1+ within 4 months, her WTN dropped down to 29.9. Which is a total different division. A coach even showed me her current WTN while the match was in play, asking how could this be??? Coaches and parents were complaining to the USTA about how good she is and she didn't belong in the league, not knowing what she actually looked like when the league started and where she came from. But that's a testament to her hard work, resilience, and obviously she's in a system that maximizes potential through hard work, regardless of natural ability. By the way! The year wasn't over, Niya raised her UTR by more than another point 1+ by the end of the year, finishing the year with a 4.22 UTR, from 2.06. I don't care how many complaints we got, I couldn't be prouder of what she accomplished at the age of 12-13 as a kid. And she can bring everything she learned about herself, the discipline, the structure, the JOY, the attitude, and resilience, with her and wherever she goes for the rest of her life.
